The Roman Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls (Latin: Dioecesis Siouxormensis) is a Roman Catholic diocese in the U.S. state of South Dakota. It was founded on November 12, 1889[1] by Pope Leo XIII and comprises that part of South Dakota east of the Missouri River. The architect for the St. Joseph Cathedral was Emmanuel Louis Masqueray.
